The following two days resulted in stimulating debate regarding the Alliance, its mission and its future. Highlights included; each member providing an overview of their organisations, their current challenges and successes in what is a financially restrictive environment; discussion on the Alliance’s opportunities to influence thought leadership at the global level with the World Bank, OECD and the European Commission; and it also provided the members the chance to assess and reflect on the Alliance’s activities.
The meeting concluded with members feeling energised and inspired to carry on the Alliance’s mission with professionalism and a clear strategic path.
The next meeting is scheduled to take place in May 2015, and hosted by Battelle in Columbus, Ohio.
